Dear Captain Chase

Our Gang !

I am sending you this note to say once again what an awesome trip I had (despite the air travel mess due to the power blackout in the northeast). We were to all arrive in Ft Lauderdale @ 12:00 noon and be @ the dock by 6:00 PM for departure to Bimini. But Scotts flight was delayed and would not be in until 10:30 PM. Your response was "No problem! We will wait until he arrives and leave then". This alone set the tone for the great trip we were about to have.
You arrived in Bimini about 4:00 am and were able to catch a couple of hours of sleep. The boat headed off the dock @ 7:30 am and we were hooked up to our first fish by 8:30 am. I cant remember what the first fish was because we caught so many different species. Myself being a novice in the deep sea fishing scene, I didn't know what to expect until a Wahoo grabbed my bait and the battle was on! Rod bent and arms straining! What a rush of excitement! The Grouper and Amber jack were abundant, one right after another. To me that's catching, not fishing. Ha Ha!
After an hour or so on your boat I had felt as if I had known you all my life. Tom, the mate, was also as friendly as you, never getting frustrated every time I got hooked up with "Jimmy's rock". Man that rock put up a battle. I almost thought I had it to the boat once.
Then came the "running and gunning" trolling for bill fish. This was cool. Even though we didn't hook up with a Blue Marlin, we did get a couple of barracuda. The excitement of being able to help rig the lines and drive the boat was as good as hooking up myself. The cabin of your boat was like being in my living room, very spacious and comfortable, being able to watch movies ( DVD ) with surround sound. And the local Bimini band could always be heard on the stereo of course. The nite life on Bimini I will never forget! That alone was worth the trip.
The ride back to Ft Lauderdale was great. The ocean was flat and the sun beaming. Once back a couple of miles off shore the excitement started again with hooking up with some dolphin! That was also cool.
Myself and the rest of the gang decided that this trip would now be an annual adventure aboard the Chase N Dreams!!
Once again Chase, thanks for the great time!! Tell Tom also what a great time I had. See you next year.
Fish On!!
James

Thanks Guys...
